The Quality Data Warehouse
Today, the laboratory sector plays an increasingly central service role. While in the past the task was primarily in material release for production, today the requirements go far beyond that.
The former tasks of R&D laboratories are now often part of the daily routine of the testing laboratory. Its increasingly central function raises correspondingly high expectations for the speed and quality with which the tests are completed and the test results are available.
Customers demand individual and comprehensive quality certificates, which include tests, evaluations, certificates and proof of capability. The quality requirements of QS 9000 lead to an ever stronger integration of new levels of the own company as well as the customers and suppliers into the quality process. Increasingly, customers expect certification according to specified standards to be provided for them at the manufacturer's works. The volume and variety of data preparation and individual presentation of results are increasing accordingly.
Laboratory areas facing these requirements often have to deal with the fact that identical data must be entered decentrally again and again, starting with goods receipt, through production, the test laboratory to the processing of complaints. The documentation in paper form and multiple entries for the creation of certificates or the entry in the sample book mean that highly qualified employees spend too much of their working time on administrative tasks and routine activities, writing down data or covering paths.
The Fink & Partner GmbH develops and realises since 1991 the database solution [DIA] for the use in laboratories (production, quality confirmation, research, development and environmental analysis laboratories).
Nowadays active quality management becomes more and more important. But you can only „manage“ quality, ifthe needed information is provided on time and with economically justifiable expense.
It is the idea of [DIA] to provide all relevant data like measured data, analyse data, process data, environmental data, image data etc. for the handling of information at one place. [DIA] is integrative as well as economical.
Over 3 thousand companies use [DIA] Look at our referencelist for some names.
